Homemade Pizza for the Win
So I don’t know about any other parents but I feel like it’s literally impossible to make a dinner that the adults AND kids will eat! I spend hours making separate meals, which gets really annoying. Moms, am I right? Well here is a FAMILY FAVORITE #HomemadePizza that everyone will love! Disclaimer: This one is super easy but I’m not making any claims about it being healthy. Let’s just call it a Friday night Family Cheat Night, shall we? :)
HOMEMADE PIZZA - McKay Style
Ingredients:
Stonefire Artisan Thin Crust Pizza (regular size for adults, mini size for individual kid pizzas)
1 lb Sweet Italian Sausage
3 Handfuls of Spinach
1 Garlic Bulb
14 oz Classico Traditional Pizza Sauce
Tillamook Mozzarella Farmhouse Thick Cut Cheese
Directions: 1. Sauté the spinach and sauté the garlic (separately) and put aside.
2. Sauté the sausage and put aside.
3. Assembly Time! Take the flatbread and put the pizza sauce on top, then spread the spinach, garlic, and sausage over the sauce, then top with the cheese! You can absolutely decide quantities of each of these items in case you don’t want as much of one or two items. Heck, you can do totally different toppings as well and I bet it will be delicious!
4. Place the pizza(s) in the oven and cook just slightly, basically until the cheese is nice and melted!
Cut, serve, and ENJOY!!!
Super easy and loved by the entire family! Kaden, of course, had his without cheese since he is allergic to dairy. However, he’s such a trooper and loves it with just sauce and sausage!
