Denver Restaurant Patios Worth Detouring to This Summer
Summer 2021 is the season of the restaurant patio. After a year of closures and capacity restrictions, plus experimenting with yurts and greenhouses, restaurants across the state are back in business. And their outdoor dining spaces are cooler than ever. Here are a few spots that are uniquely Colorado.
Avanti, Denver One of the most popular rooftop patios in the city, with views of downtown and backyard party vibes, Avanti is an incubator for chefs and restaurateurs to test out new concepts.
Happy Camper, Denver This pizza shop is what its name suggests: a campsite party complete with fire pits, airstream trailer seating and a giant tent to protect you from the fickle Colorado elements.
Dairy Block, Denver For an urban escape, head to the historic downtown Denver Dairy Block surrounding this twinkle-lit alleyway, with strolling and seating options to enjoy the Block’s myriad food and beverage offerings.
Breckenridge Brewery, Littleton With an expansive outdoor beer garden, this spot south of Denver is a day drinking oasis with views of the Rocky Mountains. This is the kind of place you can go for a time out from life as you sample their brews and seltzers while enjoying eats from the Farm House.
The Golden Mill, Golden Golden’s newest food hall’s patio, looks out over Clear Creek, Table Mountain, Mount Zion, and Coors Brewery. Choose from 50 local beers at the self-pour wall, and then head upstairs for some rooftop sushi.
So, which one(s) will you be visiting? I've been to most of them so next on my list is Happy Camper! :)
